Mercury meeting at SSSA 2014

In November 2014, I held my first session, Mercury in Soils, at the 2014 Soil Science Society of America general meeting. It was a great opportunity for soil scientists who study mercury in forest soils to come and talk about current issues in the field. Attendance was low due to a mercury session at the American Geophysical Union the following month (which I also attended), it allowed for more candid talk and interaction with session presenters. Our invited speaker was Dr. Daniel Obrist, a prominent scientist in the field of mercury cycling in soils.
